Triple the prices please!

Flowers, chocolates, and teddy bears. All traditional gifts for Valentine's Day. Not forgetting, an overpriced dinner date with fine dining and all the sweet romantic ambience.
Did you spend your Valetine's that way? Can you guess how mine.. my 1st Valentine with J went? *smirk* Don't think you can~

We had subway. ^^

After my fickle mind brought us to finer dining (home cooked meal).. Subway.. Carls Jr.. back to Subway.. then to the Q for mee sua.. just before it was my turn in the Q, i went "don't feel like eating mee sua le.." & so.. we ended up at Subway for our Valentine dinner. I told J I didn't know why I was being so fickle that day. He simply laughed and said "yes! you're really being very very fickle today". >.<

I did get a bouquet of flowers though.. not the typical 3 red roses though. They were... Rather different. *grins* But it made me laugh every time I laid my eyes on them. Truly one of a kind. Hahaha!

Valentine's Day Flowers 2012 (5th bouquet)

It may seem really weird, but the pop of colors isn't all that odd. It's what makes me smile.. espcially the bright orange. xD
We took some instax, but my fringe is waaaaaaay too messy for posting on the net. *meep!*

In place of chocolates, I got a box of cookies! Heart-shaped ones! ~(^.^)v~ In a box J bought when we were at iKEA for our 4th monthly-versary. I wasn't hungry for a cookie just then... So J was getting really impatient and anxious to see my reaction to a certain something.. ..
Apparently, he hid something in the box of hearts! He told me after he failed to convince me to eat more hearts. =X Sides, i'd have to clear out the whole box of hearts to reach my surprise.. it was just one layer away from the bottom! (x_x) It's a beautiful necklace he bought when he was in Perth, Australia. Which was last year.. >.>" Picture of the necklace in another post. =]

J gave me so many things for Valentine's Day.. I felt really bad giving him what I gave him..

Yups. Melted Cadbury chocolate in heart shaped foils. I tried covering the chocolate in foil on both sides, but it proved pretty impossible for perfection. *sigh* It's the first time I made Valentine chocolates.. I would like to call them 本命チョコ (honmei choco).. because it's for that purpose.. but but.. like never put in enough effort! o(T-T)o Even though J accepted them with a smile.. raaw~!

The extra special thing that happened on Valentine's Day wasn't the gifts and all. It was the visit to my old house.. going through the place where I lived out my youngest days. The corridor where I used to ride my tricycle with my elder brother racing at my side.. it now looks so very small. J was wondering how I could have fit the tricycle, my brother, a whole row of potted plants, and a race in that corridor. I wondered that myself too.. haha! Walking along the slope where my brothers took off my tricycle's side wheels and let me go.. all the way down.. and i didn't even know how to brake. but hey! that's how i learnt to ride a bicycle. *grins* the way I learn is really astounding. a handstand in the pool, against the wall, taught me how to swim. seriously! I was panicking a little because my back was against the wall.. was wondering how to get out of my handstand & was really scared I would drown. I managed to flip forwards and when I got the right side up, I could swim. (._.) i still remember my cousins and Aunt looking at me all shocked.

& triple the lurve while you're at it.. x3
