老伴豆花 (Lao Ban Soya Beancurd) was my treat cause Nic paid for dinner but not before heading to DAISO to exchange an item for leaf cookie cutters. Awfully Chocolate opened up in Tampines 1 not too long ago & it's just a unit away from DAISO. Walked halfway past it & Nic went "want some chocolate?" I stopped dead in my tracks and turned to the chocolate with my face all lit up. The really sleek looking stacked chocolate caught my eye, but we gave the mooncake a taste first. Yes, awfully chocolate is selling mooncakes. brownie versions at least, with butterscotch. It didn't go very well with me at that moment.. & looking at my reaction, Nic got a slice of stacked chocolate instead.

isn't it pretty? I was staring at it wondering if it fell over in the box.. & I tripped and almost fell at the foot of the escalator. (._. ;)
There's lots of seats around at Tampines 1 so we settled down at the seat just outside UrbanWrite. I insisted on sharing the cake, so Nic had to move the soya beancurd away. In which, because I had to buy two bowls of beancurd twice, I had two bags. But I didn't want to carry so many bags so I stacked a bag of beancurd into the other. A bag in a bag basically. When Nic picked up the bag of beancurd.. you can guess that he picked up the inner bag instead. haha! & after we were done with the cake, I closed the box and started to shake it. Cause now that there's no cake inside, I didn't have to care if the box was tilted or not. &.... I shook it till the cake board flew out. (*ノωノ)
okays! enough with the funny/embarrassing moments (there's lots more). Nic & I took a photo together before heading back home.
isn't always that I take photos. & I think this is one of the rare few proper photos I have with my dear friend. v(^.^ )v
brings lots of smiles.
