The Hat's Day Out

A wonderful weekend I must say. Spent the whole of Sunday at Ms Cheng's place, my ex-Pri teacher. The best part is how the photos of my baking quests was the spark. She saw photos I uploaded on facebook, photos of bread I made. One comment after the other & before I realized it, we were arranging for a baking  session over at her place.

We talked a lot more than we baked, but girl did we cover lots! In both conversations and baking that is.. Haha.. I even met someone new, Mei Lin, a few years my senior. We already made plans for next Sunday. Pizza, brownie cookies, and the apple braid bread I have been dying to try out. I hope it all goes well.. *meep!*

Yesterday was when I took my hat out to town. It was a really good decision to have brought my hat out.
I lunch-ed with Sophia, & brought her a bottle of freshly brewed pu'er. After lunch, Sophia accompanied me to pick up the camera Daddy asked me to. I got the red lumix cause white might turn yellowish & black is a better heat conductor. =\ Daddy said the new camera's mine to use too! *grins*

  

I packed everything into my small yet mighty backpack & walked. Walked all the way from City Hall to Plaza Sing. Apart from all the horrible exhaust fumes, it was a pleasant stroll. Thanks to my trusty hat! (^-^ )
Side-tracked into Love Mobile @ The Cathay to check out the prices for the RedMonster battery packs.
The main focus of heading to Plaza Sing was to head to Spotlight and get some fabric dyes, but it's not often I go by Plaza Sing. Distracted, I detour-ed into JRunway looking for the ring I saw before. Bought it, I did. After 30 minutes of serious contemplating though. haha!

Having the ring on my finger instantly painted a wide smile on my face. Especially when the cashier said "That's a nice hat". !!! haha! Happily went to get some fabric dye for my second DIY ombré infinity scarf. Had to settle for purple because they didn't have royal blue left. Just an odd looking china blue & a rather curious jeans blue. Hmm..

I shall look forward to future days out with my lovely hat, & Sunday of course. *smiles* Will update on the infinity scarf once I get around to getting it dyed. hehe~
