Sunday Class at Real Food, Novena Square 2. Haha. Nah, just a really late lunch with Ms Cheng, and Jeremy in a tow.. heh~
It was time well spent, watching & listening to two very dear people hit it off so well. The conversation was honestly of a separate universe. Thus, my task became one of great importance; taking photos of our meal. Documenting Real Food with an on-going Real English conversation. Be glad! For it is the only reason why this post has photos. *grins*
Real Organic Pumpkin Soup - $8.80 |
Mushroom Noodles Dry - $7.80 |
Assorted Mushrooms Bruschetta - $7.80 |
another shot of the Assorted Mushrooms Bruschetta cause it was that good & also because I really like mushrooms *smiles* |
Baked Brown Rice - $13.80 |
Organic Pizza - $13.80 (mouse over to see what's under the basil) |
Steamed Dumpling (8pcs) - $7.00 |
Prices and other information was taken from Real Food's Menu (Square 2).
First off, the pumpkin soup's watery consistency was rather unexpected. Then again, Jer & I are accustomed to thick soups served at The Soup Spoon. Not that the soup was bad, it just wasn't quite to our liking.
The mushroom noodles however, was disappointing. That price for something I can whip up better at home? Just not worth the tummy space.
& here's the highlight - assorted mushrooms bruschetta. Kingdom of mushrooms I tell you. A field of dreams with every bite.
Now, I can't say much about the baked brown rice, organic pizza and steamed dumplings because my mind was consumed by the glory of the mushrooms. (^^ ;)
Thank You Ms Cheng, for the wonderful meal~
