Mad For Garlic

Elva was in town this weekend, so Bellson called for a little gathering cause Elva only sees us what? once a year? They caught the movie "Taken 2" at The Cathay & then I joined them for dinner at Clark Quay's Mad For Garlic. The girls (myself included) were no fan of garlic.. but the boys.. they went mad over garlic..

Triple Garlic Pasta ($19.90) - "less spicy" version

Elbert ordered 2 of the same pizzas for everyone to share & those who wanted more food ordered pasta. But Ted.. even after a plate of pasta, he went for a second round with some kind of garlic fried rice! I couldn't eat much cause of my ulcers, but I went ahead and tried the Triple Garlic Pasta (less spicy). Dazz got it less spicy cause I couldn't take much spicy food.. Elbert got the normal Triple Garlic Pasta & boy oh boy.. if "less spicy" was really hot for me.. I would have died at the normal spiciness.
After all the pasta, rice, and pizzas, Cheryl & I took a peek at the desserts they served.. They had a specialty & we showed it to the boys, cause we just know they'll order it just to try. Sure enough.. this is what we got..

Went to find Turkish ice cream after dinner to get rid of the garlic cookie aftertaste.. but it was $5 a scoop.. (x_x )

So we settled at TCC @ the central..

TCC's matcha cake is by far the worst matcha related cake I've ever tasted. There is barely a hint of matcha in there! I still prefer BreadTalk's matcha cake. meh~

anyhoos, I'll end this post with something not related to food. My new shoe rack! Delivered on Saturday morning. =D

& the vampires will stay far far away..
