Children's Day has been changed to the first Friday of October, the way Teacher's Day now falls on the first Friday of September. I'm not sure when the change took place (I think last year..), but this year's Teacher's Day was during the term break! There isn't even a Teacher's Day Observed! To think that the Ministry of Education implemented the change "As part of the nation-wide movement to promote family life.." - MOE
It's just ironically funny how Teacher's Day is to celebrate and thank teachers for their work and effort, yet a day off is taken away. Just how does that show appreciation or thankfulness? (=_= )

i.Dental @ Capital Tower

My wisdom tooth/teeth was annoying me, so Jer spent his off-day morning bringing me MacDonald's breakfast & accompanying me to the dentist.

If you never thought coming back from the dentist would feel great, you should meet my dentist, Dr Martin Wong. He is good. He is really patient and he'll let you prepare yourself & not rush you even if his schedule is behind by an hour or so. And! He is mighty detailed. I had horribly done fillings at another clinic from a few years back. When I say horrible, I meant the kind where the tooth surface is just flat and the edges are rough enough for the floss to catch. Dr Wong helped me to even them out and made sure the tooth didn't interfere with my bite. He is the only dentist I have ever liked this much to be treated by. The customer service staff are very friendly and helpful too, both Capital Tower & Ubi.

After my dental, J & I wound up at Changi Airport due to auto-pilot. *laughs* Check out the cute little girl & a malfunctioning single droplet.
