A weekend later.. my arms are still aching from carrying my dress around. But I have to press on. I need to continue pressing these keys, and let future brides out there learn from my mistakes.
#1 Ask how many helpers, even if they only state one.
#2 Come up with 3 backup locations (in case of bad weather)
#3 If a drone's involved, practice & ask your groom/helper to setup while you're changing
#4 Equip your helper with a good camera phone. (Even better if he/she comes with one already. Better than gold if they're good at sneak shots)
#5 Think out what props you want to bring and the poses you want to do with them. (not all photographers have that spontaneous creativity you expect)
#6 Order smoothies early for lunch (or make your own), use filling fruits like bananas so you can sip and "eat" on the go/while getting your hair done without ruining your makeup.
#7 HAVE FUN ;)
& congratulations.
